| Budget beadlocks
New to the cc01 and 1.9's. always wanted one and just ordered the Wrangler. I'm on a tight budget and am trying to figure out a good budget beadlock. I looked at the Junfac plastic ones but I question how long they will last. I put a link below to the RC4WD metal ones. Are they a good fit for the cc01? About 60.00 since you have to get adapters. Any thoughts? Is the offset right? I Will they fit stock tires? (For now) Thanks from a newbie to the cc01! https://store.rc4wd.com/6-Lug-Wagon-...te_p_1931.html Last edited by Steve Hipsley; 01-05-2013 at 08:53 AM. Reason: Edit link |

I would go with 1.55 rims and tires for a more scale look, see my build on here Quote:

I'm using the Integy High Mass beadlock wheel/tire set. They're about $50-60 for all 4 and really under rated. The wheel halves are aluminum and the internal beadlock ring is steel and acts as your wheel weight. I love em. |

I ran the GMade plastic beadlocks for months and loved them. Never came apart or anything like that. I upgraded to Vanquish rims but could still be running around on the plastic ones no problem. They're for sale at the moment with RC4WD Prowler tyres which are very scale.

If I can be so bold as to say, I bought these from HobbyKing: And they where like $10 a pair. They work great. A bit on the hard side, but after the 3rd or 4th trailing outing, they softened up a bit. I love them, and they nice and cheap. |

The junfac beadlocks can take a ton of abuse. Far more than other parts of the CC01. Have no fear.
