Default Fj cruiser prices going down

I've been watching the cc01 fj cruiser kit for a week and a half now, each day, the price drops by 3 dollars on tower hobbies. It's now at 137.99. Why is this Happening? I wish they could do that for all the cc01 kits!!

I've noticed they have gotten really cheap too. I think I might have to pick one up.

I'm just starting another SCX-10 build, but I had to pick one of these up.

I bought one yesterday, and the price dropped again. I'm hoping I can wait before they bring the price back at their lowest, but I contacted them and they just said they we just have special deals.

Price dropped to 133.40 today so I ordered one. I checked tower hobbies coupons too and they had one good for $10 off so that makes it 123.40 shipped. Not bad!

Anyone building one? I'll be starting on mine soon and could use some inspiration.

How well do those 1.9 Dirt Grabbers fit? Much rubbing? I'm leaning toward those tires for my build.

No - not much rubbing because I just raised it up on the body posts a little higher than stock. I was about to recommend these as I use them for this chassis too... but they are out of stock. Maybe you can source them elsewhere http://www.amazon.com/KRT-Crawler-Ti.../dp/B00HUEZJBO

Thanks. The look of the Drit Grabbers (or maybe the Fun Country) is more what I'm going after. Something not too aggressive. Looks like I can make them work.

Which roof rack is that on the FJ Cruiser?

Dirtgrabbers are great, and last time I looked rc4wd had that exact wheel/ tire setup for sale (they are what comes with the d90 kit) and they were - relatively - not that expensive.

The rack was off amazon. Pretty anemic compared to the large tube 1:1 (guy on rcg made a scratch perfect one) but it came with a ladder and the purpose is to protect the light bar in a rollover.
