| Why not invert shocks?
I noticed some crawlers shocks are inverted but I don't see that on the LCC. What gives?

Jake and I both run them inverted (you mean upside-down right? not inverted like internal springs?). I love it.

if there is an air bubble it will affect the the performance of the shock as the piston will be sitting in the bubble in the upside down position. but with this being slow crawling that really isn't much of an issue. more towards racing vehicles. plus if you keep the shocks maintained there shouldn't be any bubbles |

dampening can fell strange if air gets sucked in....But I'm thinking about flipping mine around after this next rebuild to give it another try... | |

just do a good job on your shocks and it shouldn't be a problem. i just rebuilt my shocks cause they had a slow leak and were starting to get air in them

I run my fronts upside down... and it works well. Because of my outboarded rear shocks, I haven't been able to invert them without causing some binding problems.

i was going to run them upside down but i found that my tires clear better at full turn with them on right side up. also im using internal springs and shocks are mounted right on the main chassie on delrin supports. less hard wear up top = lower COG
