Default Built thread

I cannot call it a build thread, as I have no pics along the way...

Specs:

LCC #444
Losi 21.5 Crawler system
RC Bros motor mount
16t pinion
Futaba 3pmx
Hitec HS-225MG dig servo
Hitec HS-7955TG steering servo
6oz weight in each front tire
3oz weight in each rear tire

ESC is mounted on the RX mount, and RX is atop the dig servo.

I finally got it together, and it looks like she may run. The steering servo and the losi motor are new. i was running the novak 21.5 on the Losi ESC, but the motor decided that it wanted to melt down, this was after the first Losi ESC died. I'll be going out to play on the rocks a little later today, and hopefully the shakedown will prove that I can start tweaking the settings and tuning it up to my driving.

I'll try and get pics posted soon! (btw, anybody have a spare body reamer they can send to me... I still need to get the body that Brian painted for me installed)

Oh my god... this truck is a beast! I have learned that I'm going to have to upgrade to the v3 axles... my v1's lasted about 20 minutes! i finally love my losi... been a few months in the making, and I am happy with the xcelorin system! I didn't get pics, but every line that we have over here on our rock pile was no match for the LCC, it was like I was cheating!

It's hard not to love the Losi once you get it running right.

Well, it rained all night last night, so the rock pile was surrounded by sticky gooey mud. I drove it around climbing whatever I could find, mostly stairs, and finally put a 1300mA battery to cutoff... I'm excited, 1 full battery pack through, many, many more to go!

Just wait, I've got 100+ hrs on mine and love it more than when I first got it running. Many have more drive time than I do and most feel the same.

Rained all day yesterday, all night last night and all day today. It's still raining so it may be awhile before things dry up here. And I was so looking forward to putting that first scratch on my new body this weekend.
