Default I need help!

I am having hard time trusting buying new ESC for my brushless LCC, Ive had issues with Xcelorin system (4th set already!) it keeps on smoke into fire after only two battries run, and i use my setup card everytime I plug in new fresh battries as for my 4th set getting replaced xcelroin system. So I think I am going to give up with xcelorin and find something else to replace it.

What ESC for brushless do you guys run and have no issues with? Some say Castle Creation Mamba? some say MMP? some say tekin but i dont know model? and some say novak goat 3s?

My machine runs on 11.1v 1300mah 3s lipos, 3 of them are BRAND new collecting dust that the xcelroin never WORKS!

Help please!

I am having some issues for the first time in about 5 months with my MMP. It has been flawless with lots of run time. Castle's customer service is great.

I have run/delt with the Goat 3s. Not my favorite.

I have had great luck with my Tekin RS Pro. It is a little more spendy than some of the others, but it has performed well and given me no trouble to speak of.

Its not a sensored brushless esc, so it would not be smart to use it, there will be alot of cogging

Default brushless works just fine....

Just go brushless....nothing will ever smoke or catch fire. (Novak if you have the bucks to blow, RC4WD if you don't)(the Sidewinder can run either brushed or brushless)

This is what I'm running. Love the system. I too, had bad luck w/ the Xcelorin(s). I've got two sitting on table. W/ the Tekin you have lots of options to try and play with. I'm saving up to put a 13.5 in mine after running Djjiz's

the mamba max pro is hard to beat for value and will work flawless or there is the tekin rs pro which is smaller and lighter but its very expensive.

I had the Novak 3cell system in mine. It was perfect for me. I now have the Tekin rs system and have no clue on how to work it but it seems like a good setup. I have heard the sidewinder with a brushed Titan motor are ok but I don't have experience with that setup. My only real problem with my Tekin is that it shuts off all power to it once in a while (prolly a wire issue not a system issue).

I run the MMP with a tekin motor, I had to play with the esc settings but it works great now. Tekin makes good stuff too, so I don't think you could go wrong with a rs pro.

It has the Tekin 17.5 motor. It has to be a short somewhere. I can wiggle the wires and the esc will sometimes reset.

Only real issue was that if you get the Goat near water its game over. We lost a couple when we got rained on in Moab. Other than that, I just dont like how the programing is set. I really like how I change the settings on my mamba max.

Oh, not too fond of the fan on the Goat. Always hit it and broke a fin or just smacked my finger.

Did anyone really read my post?? I said BRUSHLESS.. I already have two brushless motors with sensored plug in. I noticed half of the people on here skip reading most part...

Anyhow.. does tekin rs pro run sensor??

Goat 3s has issues if a bit of water splash on it??

I ve hears few good, few bad stuff about MMP, but its not sensored is it?

the manba max pro and the tekin rs series both have sensored only mode - sensored start up mode - or sensorless modes and both run brushed motors also
