Default T1e LCC

Want to try this and need some input. I love my LCC, It is my first 2.2 and the one downfall for me has been the lack of belly clearance. What if I did a MOA with the BLC regear, punk dig and a T1E chassis. Any constructive input would be awesome.

John

One of our club members (bstcrawler) built a beetlejuice Losi. It works very well. Hopefully he will chime in.

You will just need to lower the upper link mounts on the chassis or raise the upper links on the axle. The vertical separation of the links on the axle of a berg and a losi are VERY different.

with a punk dig can you still get rear burn? I have never used anything like this.

Absolutely

The best thing about an moa is the electronic dig capabilities. The punk dig doesn't care how bound up or how much weight is on any wheel, it is instant dig no matter what, fast and reliable.

You will dig it

Mount your links on top of the MOA brackets and it should work fine. Also the best way to run a Losi MOA is with twin sticks so you can control the rear motor independently from the front on break overs. I feel the main downfall with the Losi as a MOA is the axles lock 100% when in dig.

I tried MOA with stock, CDW and BJ3 chassis with good belly clearance but sacrificed CG. If you go for more clearance, you will end up clocking the rear axle and raising the rear motor CG.

I've switched mine over to a T1E chassis.
I'm still doing some tweaking with it, but I'm pretty happy with where it's at right now.

Here's a couple of crappy cell phone pics.
