Default Off set for using xr10 wheels

Hi guys,

I bought some xr10 wheels assuming they would fit onto my comp crawler axles. As you lot probably know, they don't so I now need to off set them. How much do I need to do it by and what is the best (by best I mean cheapest ;)) way of doing it?

I have had good success with the Junfac 13mm wheel wideners with my stock Losi wheels.

The XR10 wheels are wider than the stock Losis. Measure the outer track width and add about an inch. Then you will have the width. I have not found any shorter. I would love to find some about half that width.

I was looking at them, but they seem a lot of money for what they are. I was thinking about getting some big plastic hexes and using the tube nuts off them instead

Funny I did the same thing a few weeks ago. I bought a set of stock XR wheels with the "Bling! Bling!" carbon fiber retainers and VP weights. Same issue. Not steering with the nasty offset. I put them up for sale. Now thinking I will do the extender thing on my MOA project.

I narrowed the XR 10 wheels around 1/4in and they fit just fine
