Default Driveshafts?

Looks like the Comp Crawler driveshafts have been disco'd and I'd like to ditch the standard rear shaft assembly on my LNC for a CVD style shaft. Any of you guys fit a different driveshaft on the LCC and the LNCs?

I've thought about different driveshafts too but there all huge and will hit the links. Any driveshafts with 5mm bore will work though.

Traxxas or Axial driveshafts on the Losi will work fine as they don't need to be as strong, as the majority of the reduction is done in the axle.

Cool, thanks! I had thought of maybe MIP X-CVDs, but those seemed kinda huge compared to the rest of the axle and the LCC driveshaft assembly.

mip is WAY overkill. i'm running stampede driveshafts with plastic yokes with no issues. as eeepee said, they don't need to be a super strong shaft as all the reduction is in the axle, unlike a ring and pinion rig.

I figured that too, I was actually wondering about the Ascender shafts, IIRC, the trans end is close in design to that of the LCC, maybe I could get away with my stock Ascender shafts since it was built when new with the HD shafts.

I got the Twin Hammer/Ascender CVD joints for the original Ascender shafts, bolted right up!
