Default Belly Clearance...

Hi everyone!

I have a lightly modded LNC and want to know what is a comfortable range for the skid plate height. I currently sit at 2.5"

Depends on the terrain and in what way it's modded.
- In its original state with a heavy battery on top the belly clearance should be kept somewhat "low" to keep the crawler stable.
- With the centre of gravity (COG) moved down and forward you may increase the belly height if desired to pass obstacles. A low height is better for traversing slopes (all directions).

Now, in the center frame is where all electo is mounted. RX/ESC/CCbec. The batt (1000Mah 3S) is mounted on the rear axle...

The only thing stock is the axles, frame, and the length of the suspension links.
All eletro is changed and I have dumped the plastic battery holder.

2.5" is okay. I run closer to 2.75". It's all a compromise. You give up something to get something.
