| Any Knoxvegas Crawlers?
Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm thinking on getting into the rock crawling hobby since I can't afford the real thing. I just wanted to know if there were any crawlers in the Knoxville area with any tips for starting out other than go buy one. More specifically should I go rtr or build a kit and put what I want to on it? I know rtr electronics aren't usually the best so I know they would be in for an upgrade anyway. I'm looking at more of a scale rig for now as I have an old Blackfoot body that I cant wait to use. Thanks Guys! |

I'm local, well kind of. I work on western ave so I visit Knoxville atleast 5 days a week. I have never been to Northshore but have heard about it. I either crawl behind my house in Morgan co. or behind reflections house.

northshore is pretty cool to run. theres some easy stuff and some pretty challenging stuff. i go there as often as possible which isn't a lot, long drive.... but as for you getting a crawler, id check the craiglist. after i bought and built my venom i started finding some killer deals on there. you can always throw the body your itchin to use on an axial or w/e and have a scaler thats still king of the rocks. make it your own and "rock" it. later
