CTXRCC Scale Comp #8 - Georgetown, TX

Date: Saturday, August 18th
Location: Cedar Breaks Park
Tech-in and course building starts at 9am
Comp starts at 10am

This is the same location as the first Georgetown comp this season, but next to the boat ramp (crawl spot 2 on the map). After the first Gtown comp we had a little trail ride at this spot and it was awesome. There are some great features which will make for some fantastic gates. Not hard gates though, just really fun. There will most likely be water incorporated on a few gates as long as its wheel nut depth or shallower, so don't worry about water proofing.

Be sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. It will be hot, and there is not a lot shade in the immediate area but there are covered picnic tables about 50 yds away, and the lake of course if you want to take a refreshing dip.

I will have plenty of score sheets and tech sheets along with clipboards. I do ask that everyone fill out the tech sheets for your trucks prior to the comp which helps me get the scoring done sooner. If you have any questions regarding how to score your rig please feel free to ask.
