| Tough decision.....
Ok well I have been looking around for new tires. the rock lizards arent cutting it.... I run on jagged rocks along with smooth rolling rocks, dirt, a little water, little grass, little graval, logs, tiney bit of pavement, around the house.... I narrowed my choices between the rock claws and badlands.... If there are any others let me hear them! I'm open to any offers on tires selections, though i'd ask the pro's! Thanks! |

Flatirons are pretty sweet. I saw a set run this weekend and they're pretty good tires for comp or scale.

| I have run both and came to this conclusion...........if wet and muddy, Claws are better...........if dry, Badlands are better. If your courses are run completely on rock, and never touch dirt/mud, then the Badlands are better (even when wet). But with most courses run in my parts, there will be time spent in the dirt to travel from rock to rock. But this is just my experience with my rig and my terrain, and should not be considered a definite answer. |

I like my badlands on jagged rocks and wet. i think they outperform the claws in these conditions but what do i know..
