| Anybody tried Flat Iron for comp
Anybody tried these - in M3 compound? They look like they could be a fairly good comp tire on the rocks.

I have a set in m2 compound but they are not in the same class as the Losi or Panther. They are my favorite and do the best out of the proline tires that I have used in my area. IMHO they are an awesome performing scale tire though. |

I have run them on my comp rig with mixed results. If they dont get too dusty(fine dust) they are really good in most places that a losi claw would be, but the dustier they get and the slicker the rock(mostly the two combined) the worse they perform...imo. Overall though I run them more than my claws, unless the course is really dusty.

Had a guy running a set at our last comp. He swapped out them out for Hammers after about the first course. We were running on fairly slick river rock if that tells you anything.

They make for an awesome scaler tire, but not a comp tire. My son has been running them for a while now and there ok, but he's going to M2 Hammers and a guy in our club is going to put them on his scaler.
