Ya, the rubber compound is waaaaay too hard. Pro-Line's got the best compound out of ANY tire company.

those are the k rocks from imex and really they suck for crawling even after they have been cut up the tire compound is just to hard.Do a search and you will find all kinds of posts about those tires. If you want a good sticky crawling tire go with the proline moabs or the discontinued giant tracs.

According to Imex's website those tires have a new softer compound. I don't know when that note was added, but it might be worth a call to Imex to find out. Maybe everyone who bought the old tires could swap them out for the new compound?

I loved my K-Roks when I had 'em....I thought that they worked extremely well, even though I had to shave/cut the hell out of 'em.

I use many IMEX tires and I am happy with all of them. Proline tires are ok... I have had a few sets but sold them.
