NOVA'S..........Start with them stock, if they seem too hard narrow the inner foam maybe 1/4". If they still seem too hard take another 1/4" off the inner. Do not cut the outer soft foam. The inners will soften up a bit over time, but Nova is now selling 1/4" tuning rings of the inner foam so if they get too soft, you can add the tuner rings. Best foams out there.

Anybody been able to make a rover taller and work by squeezing it down and stuffing it with foam?

No pics but im runnin proline 2 stages in mine, bumped the height a bit over my fronts. Believe thats mostly due to the .7" wheel thiugh

Try a tall, narrow foam. Maybe HPI rock grabber or x-lock foam.

i cut 1/4 inch out the center foam just like was said above. i get 5.25 inches maybe a hair over
