Yea, searching can give you awesome results, but here's one to look at:

LIVE FAB: FLatIrons turn to TallIrons!

I did the same thing, but, really the methods shown in any reducing can be applied to enlarging a tire.

Here's what mine look like:

There's a limit to how much larger you can make a tire, as in, a 1.9 flat iron probably doesn't enlarge to a 4.0 rim well since the diameter of the carcass is too tight, it causes wrinkles and folds that will hurt performance.

Get some IC2000, some CA, some good scissors, and a bunch of tires, and get to cut'n'opening some tires.

BTW what tire are you looking to make larger?

search for 'Pantablo' on youtube, he made of vid showing how to cut apart tires and reduce them, it would be the same basic technique to enlarge them.

If you cut the sidewalls just right (meaning, outside of the sidewall tread), then you should be able to get a 9" tall tire. You'll need custom foams as well...

Just taller than rovers when mounted, so about 5.5ish. I wanted something that would be competitive against Rok Lox, but with a beefier tread, and these fit the bill perfectly.
