| Shaved and Sniped Boss Claws got a few questions
I'm in the middle of designing my chassis and building up my XR10 and I've been doing a lot of reading on tires and wheels, being that's my next purchase to get a complete roller before I go broke buying electronics, lol. I've noticed 90% of the vids for the comp rigs I've seen are using these tires and are doing different types of shaving and snipping, this just makes the tire for flexible and maybe a little lighter correct? what compound is recommended for doing this to a set of Boss Claws? I have a goal weight of around 4lbs for my truck, not sure if I'll be able to meet it without dropping way more cash than I planned lol. Thanks, Jake |

Use the reds. The reason for the various patterns is to get better traction from the tires and the reason for the shaving is to save weight and it helps the tire conform to the rocks better

When you do also use Crawler Innovation duel stage foams to yield the best results from the tyres too. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 |
