Default Axial and Proline beadlocks "Out of stock"???

Been looking to purchase some 1.9 and 2.2 Axial beadlock wheels and everyone is out of stock for the last two months. Same for the Proline Titus 1.9s and 2.2s. Anyone know what's going on? I know RC4WD has alternatives but I have always had good results with Axial and Proline.

I'm pretty sure all the new axials have glue on rims now. So maybe that's why.

I understand that, however the beadlocks are hot sellers. Sure, they removed them from the kits and RTRs but that is cutting costs. Why would Axial and Proline shoot themselves in the foot and discontinue beadlocks even as a optional part/s?

Talked to a vendor and he said Axial is doing away with the beadlock rims. This really sucks.

I imagine your "vendor" has no idea and wants to sell the rims that he has in stock... But I emailed axial to confirm or deny.

*** EDIT ***

The reply I got from Axial was that they discontinued "some" beadlocks, but not all. I specifically asked about the black 1.9" 8 hole and satin 1.9" 8 hole, and he confirmed that those are, indeed, still being produced.

Yes, and it sucks cause they were the company that originally boasted of real beadlocks on all their kits and RTRs!!!!!!

Therefore I have a couple sets of throw away garbage glue on wheels and had to pay extra to buy some good beadlocks!
