Wheel weights clarification

Ok, getting a parts list for wheels and weights and such. However, I'm a little confused with the wording

Weight ring: 1.9 Internal Wheel Weight Ring 43g/1.5oz (2pcs)

Weights: 1.9 Internal Wheel Weight Insert 9g/0.33oz (4pcs) (for use with AX30547)

The wording of the quantity is confusing me... just the way they're describing it. To me, it sounds like I should get:

4- AX30547 (if it's 1.5oz each and there're 2 pcs per pack, then I would get 3oz/wheel, right?)

4- AX30548 (.33oz each with 4 per pack, so 1.22oz/wheel, right?) (may not get if the others add 3oz each)

Those numbers are correct, right, because the wording in their description throws me. Mostly when they say "To add the maximum amount of weight to a pair of wheels use (2) Internal Wheel Weight Rings and (3) Internal Wheel Weight Insert packs."

Maybe someone can clarify

Looking at $128-152 for my whole list(tires and wheels too) depending if I go with the separate insert weights or not. Ugh...

Or if anyone has any suggestions (I was thinking of stick-on pine wood derby car lead weights as an option). I plan on running the stock wheels because I like the look of them, and 1.9 Pitbulls

i use these weights. there .25 oz per little square, total of 45 oz plenty for extra sets of wheels

I just go to my local tire store when I need wheel weight and get a stick of weights with 12 of the 1/4oz sections for $1.00 each

If you do not mind I will horn in here to ask a related question.

I am about to order a set of 1.00" SLW wheels from Vanquish. Does anyone know if these wheel weights fit inside the recessed part of the wheel without trimming them? Or will I have to trim them to fit into this area?

Motorcycle shops use wheel weights that are longer and narrower than automotive weights. They usually work great for narrow wheels.

Thanks Once I get the wheels I will hit up the local Motorcycle shops, or just order some on line ahead of time.

I'm actually diving into some ideas for a wheel weight system. I think it'll be a pretty cool idea that many people would want to check out. I'll make a separate thread later
