Default aluminum rims

i know this is a dumb quesiton but will aluminum rims rust? i was driving yesterday and was in some wet grass got all over the rims and it got me worried.

if they do rust how do i protect them?

Aluminum does not rust. If your driving in saltwater they will corrode though. Just clean them up every once in ahwile and you will be fine.

so if they get damp or totally submerged in regular water im 100% good to go, and if for some reason i get saltwater on them clean them and im good?

Aluminum will not rust, It will oxidize if if is not clear anodized though.
