Default 1/8th scale buggy wheels?

has anyone tried running some 1/8th scale buggy tires and wheels? they not very crawler style but i think they'd be a good size for a scale truck?

Buggy tires are kinda low profile for use on a crawler - particularly scale ones I would think.

What about just the wheels? They seem pretty narrow to start with so you probably wouldn't need to trim them down?

The only issue's are that the wheels have no offset. You would need wideners to clear the steering/axles.

The wheels would look WAY too big unless you wrapped them with large rubber.... luckily Maxx size tires fit perfect on 1/8 scale wheels...

Most of the 1/8th wheels are 17mm. You can find some older Ofna wheels with a 14mm hex.

ya it seems like you could get alot narrower tire if you used a buggy wheel and stuck a normal tire bead into the buggy wheel. and you could puul the tire over too
