what 1.9 rims hold a bead on pitbull rockbeasts

got some rock beasts coming and was planning on either going with the rc4wd pro10 wheel or maybe the rc4wd hitman beadlock

losing the scale screws on the hitman frightens me a bit so I am unsure on which wheel.

then today i read about the rockbeasts being a pain to mount and the beads won't hold in steelie wheels.

what beadlocks are you guys running on these.
I want something
all black or lots of black
aluminum preferably
capable of holding a bead so I don't spend all my wheel time trying to remount a tire.

I have a set of 1.9 Hitmans. They look great and it was not that hard at all to get some tires mounted. I mounted some Rock Crusher II X/T 1.9 tires on them. I had a brain fart and didn't check to make sure the hub bolts where tight and lost a wheel after about 20 minutes of hill climbing and yard bashing. I have a set of bolts on order and plan on using some lock tight when I get them installed. I read the other day in this form that if you use a Mason jar lid.. the ring part.. it will help you get beadlock wheels mounted in no time. I'm also running a set of Axial 1.9 8Hole beadlocks with Crazy Crawler tires.. they work really well too.

I actually use RC4WD OEM steelies for my pitbulls, I got really nice spacers from Underground crawlers and now it fits like a glove! I think the spacer could work for your pro10 as well! and it's so much easier to install those because the spacer is actually threaded...you install one side, screw it down and you do the other side after...no need to hold everything together...hope this will help!

I Have The Scale Shop 1.9s and C.A.C 1.9 Wheels all Black Wheels and Raw Hardware and Rings and Have Never Had a Bead Pull out,,The Underground Crawler Spacer is The way To Go If You Want the Rc4wd wheels..

well since I need 5 wheels and not a huge budget I went agains what i wanted to do and settled for a plastic wheel. I looked thru the pitbull pics thread and about 60-70% of people were running some sort of axial stocker wheel.

So I ordered 6 of the stock black axial 1.9 beadlock wheels
and also these AWESOME beadlock rings to go on the black wheels.

should look decent. black on black mmmmmmm



gonna go on this rig.
can't wait to try out these pit bulls to see what all the fuss is about

You're gonna love em'. Mine are mounted on Axial 8 hole wheels and I have never thrown a bead yet.

I have them on a twin hammers with stock wheels. Running a 6.5t on 2/3s. Haven't thrown a bead. There awesome tires, just plain work.

I just remounted mine on axial 1.9s with mthead rings. Mounted up super easy and look great.

My pit bulls are mounted on gear head RC ez-loc trail kings and I think they are a perfect fit for each other. You get aluminum hexes and rings and I think the wider wheel suits the width of the tire nicely. If you want to see the combo rpp hobby has several pics when you look up the wheels.

Got some pitbulls mounted on steelies with the UGC spacers and great results, as well as on some axial beadlocks. Only problems with the axial's is spinning of the hexes...

I used RC4WD pin mount hubs on my Axials added about 1/8" per side not too bad. Oh, and not to thread jack. My Pitbull are mounted on Lock Up beadlocks.

That's a good idea, been debating the vp hub idea as well. But the last time it happened, shoe gooed some hexes in... (cheapo option )

Im about to mount my pitbulls on some stamp steelies I can wait for these wheels Ive had them on my widen axial bead locks and they look great and perform amazing especially in seattle where its always wet rock lol
