Default 1.9 touring wheels questions?

I have a set of BFG's i'm going to be using on a scale build. I need wheels, I dont really like the tamiya ones so I started looking at TC wheels and picked up a set of HPI vintage wheels, they look good but there offset is nearly flush to the front rim. Is there a TC rim that doesnt have an offset like this? I would like one that sits more like a 2.2 rim, more centered in the rim.

If this is too newb of a Question feel free to move it.

hpi does a few different sets of wheels with better offset. they do 0mm, 3mm, and 6mm offsets.

Pretty tough to find a TC rim with a deep offset, but it's easy to cut the inner bead off and move it to the outside. And, it'll take care of that goofy step-down lip on the Vintage rims, too.

Crappy pic but it gets the point across. This is on the Junkyard Wars drag Nomad:

And yes, like just about every Junkyard Wars project, it blew up

Just like any other wheel, depends on how you glue it. I tack 'em in place with CA, and run a bead of Shoe Goo around the inside. They hold up well, haven't broken one yet.
