4.19 KLR MTX vs MT vs AT I am building a tube frame rock crawler and will end up around 9 to 10 pounds. I know I want to run some 4.19 KLR tires but not sure which of the three will work best. I run about 90% of the time on granite. Has anyone run these on granite and which would you recommend? |
Re: 4.19 KLR MTX vs MT vs AT Proline hyrax predator compound. https://www.prolineracing.com/tires/...ruck-tires.asp Next question is, what foams? |

I will only run KLR or Pitbull. |
Re: 4.19 KLR MTX vs MT vs AT I have ran 4.19 KLR MTs on granite quite a bit. Ran the inner stage only of the 4.5 CI two stage foams. The MTs worked fine for me. The MTX only has slightly more lug spacing and a bit more siping if I remember right. |
Re: 4.19 KLR MTX vs MT vs AT From experience running a less aggressive tread/lug pattern works much better on high traction surfaces. Aggressive tread/lugs naturally cause up and down movement. I know the movement is minimal but a smoother pattern keeps your tires planted smooth.... Let the compound do the work... Hope my gibberish makes since.. |

Pitbull now has some 4.19" tires. Did you consider those? Quote:
