I've looked at these and almost bought them. I may still get them.
How much wider does it make the truck?

Would be interesting to try these out and see how the width affects side-hilling.

The width is nice for some applications, LURC makes widener rings and even double-wide widener rings that fit their wheels to achieve a similar effect - and many of Gearhead's wheels are wider than the norm. As far as Boom Racing wheels go - my favorite variation on the TE37-style are these - the spokes just look so much better with that dish to them!:

And - on the opposite end of the spectrum, Boom Racing makes these super-narrow (21mm) steelies in white, black, and raw silver - perfect for those super skinny tires out there, and/or for achieving that "work truck" look:

Im thinking quite a bit it seems like the hub is nearly flush with back and of the wheel.

I already have trouble stuffing the tires on my trx4 without them grabbing the body so im not sure i want it any wider.

Actually the wide version of the wheel seems to have hub set inside the wheel more

I guess that's to keep the hub closer to centre of the wheel or it would mess the steering up.

I have a pair of the KRAIT TE37X Gun Metal wheels and they are good quality, but the grey makes them look a bit bland. Also there are different offset hubs available, so I assume they could be used on these wider wheels.

this actually supports sidewalls better when the tires are not narrowed... C.I. should be bringing back the 1.5 inch wide 6 bolts back.
