Close enough to prove the compound difference surely

I just can't bring myself to believe that.

U should get some and do a legit test "thumbsup"

Where would you find a new set of KLR MT/X to test? The last set I saw sold over $100 on ebay.

What's the chance u can do an unbiased review between the two?

His are the AT version. Either way you seem to be the only one pushing for a comparison? Who in here ever said these were the same or better?

What a obviously biased review.

This is my only reason for a comparison. The video I posted comparing the choodoo to voodoo has been claimed to be biased in some way and if this is true then an unbiased comparison would be a good thing.

I believe just a grip comparison, fair enough the tread is marginally different but the compound is what offers the grip.

But whatever, I don't care. I'll sit back and leave u guys to jizz all over these cheap fakes. Enjoy "thumbsup"

I know that Proline smell but I think the main "stink" comes from their foams, If you're brave take a nice up close whiff! :lmao:

Wasn't meant to cone across as an attack. I know theres a person on FB trying to say these are as good as the original's. But that's one person's claim. I haven't seen anyone else. I think we all know how the comparison would go. I personally love my OG KLR reds and know the Injora compound isnt the same.

All good, I didn't take it as such, and I should clarify my last line of the post was meant as tongue in cheek.

I agree that they're highly unlikely to be even a similar compound. But based on that one and only vid on YouTube, which is being claimed as a rigged test, I'd be curious to know just how far different they are. Not because I want to buy them, or sell them, promote or anything like that at all. Just because many of the other brands have a chinesium version and none seem to have thrown up such a stink about it all.

People will only buy what they can afford. Sometimes if a China version gets them the satisfaction, that's their win. If they buy the genuine, they'll get what they pay for.

I don't really know where I'm taking this post. I'd just be curious to see a proper unbiased comparison.

Re: Has anyone tried the INJORA KLRs?

Well, I have decide to move my set to my TRX-4 Defender, as the diff housings on the Enduro are a bit large to use 4.19" diameter tires with and not have them hang up.

Still have not run them!

The TRX-4 needs some electronics replaced as some parts fried when a JX 12v servo was introduced to the equation.

Might be a while until I run them, and I will have no "genuine" Ottsix tires to compare.

I'll freely admit the compound feels fairly hard, but for my purposes on a skinny tire with small tread blocks that may be a good thing - otherwise they'd wear to nothing pretty quickly.

With a long wheelbase, heavy body, small OD tires with a harder compound may make this a challenging truck to crawl with - and that's fine by me.

I have other vehicles set up rather differently!

Re: Has anyone tried the INJORA KLRs?

I'm in ........I wanted some cheap beadlocks, Injora @ $40.00 a set of four will work fine as this rig will be sold.

Much to my surprise, for $8.00 more 4 KLR tiny (4.13) tires were available from HK.

Now they are on a great silver bird winging towards me from some unpronounceable town.

So I really don't care for $8.00 how good they are, as long as they are round.

That is still questionable.

The set of Injora 1.55 Baja MTZs I got came kinda D-shaped. :lmao:

they got you too huh that sucks

i pluged my jx 12v servo in and it instantly wiped out my mamba monster x

it turned out the control board was touching the case and shorted out i never even got a chance to run it however i did use it for a servo winch with a tiny esc

I've received 1.9 Proline tires that were out of shape. The center hole was so large that 2.2 wheels fell through it.

I have an old pair of the first batch KLRs and 2/4 have a pretty big gap around the beadlock rings on every 1.9 wheel I've tried. My solution was to stretch them over 2.2s.

Those look really good on those wheels dezfan. Maybe a stupid question: are these Injora's only available in 4.19", or do they also make this tire in a 4.75"ish size? With 14 (15?) trucks, I can't give them all the "good" stuff!

Re: Has anyone tried the INJORA KLRs?

The Injora "version" is only available in 4.19" OD, 1.3" width...

I jumped on a full set with beadlocks. Now I'm waiting for them to show. I needed a little smaller tire.

With all the hype and the cost I ended up hitting the pay button on a set myself. Lets see how these look then.
