| Plastic Beadlocks. Proline vs.
Anyone else manufacture decent plastic beadlocks in 1.55, 1.7 or 1.9 besides pro-line? I've found the 1.9 Pro-line plastics preform much better overall for my rig and wonder if there are more options.

I like the Incision ones since they are fairly light and you have the option of bolting on an aluminum hub so you don't strip out the hex like on other plastic wheels.

I have used Axial beadlock wheels for years. Never had a problem, Even when I was running big tires and big power. I also run a slipper, and set it accordingly to protect my drive train. I tend to drive with mechanical sympathy.

The ones I got with the enduro sendero are pretty nice actually. If I remember correctly, they use slw hub style and element rc also offers brass and aluminum hubs. Mounting tires is really easy with them. Installed the duratrax deep woods without any issues. |

I've found extra wheel weight doesn't help as much as i thought. Getting better performance removing the weight and making sure the rig is balance correctly and shocks are set correctly, especially the rear ones. Good to see some nice lightweight plastic options and saves wear and tear on the drive-train. |

| Re: Plastic Beadlocks. Proline vs. Your nice to your rig. I feel like I need one of these walls in my garage I've been using the Axial 1.9 beadlocks for a while with some gearhead rc rings. Work pretty well. Only stripped one, but I believe that was my fault for not checking the wheel nut. Even through u4rc racing, they've done well. Just not much for style options unless you dress them up with some aftermarket rings. |
