BB's in tires? How many BB's are people putting in there tires as a starting point? Thanks for the info, Fireman |
Re: BB's in tires? I tried 1.5 35mm film canisters in each tire and found it to be too much. I think that with a Clod too many bb's really hurts because you only have one motor driving the front axle. With a shaftie and dual motors you can get away with more bb's. I plan to try one film cannister in each tire and see how that does. Good luck! |
Re: BB's in tires? I had a pound of bb's in each tire and recently went to 2 pounds, which really proved to be too much. I am going back to one pound in the fronts and a half pound in the rear. My god.......it sounds like I'm ordering meat from a deli!!!!!! One last note: I may ditch the Kongs in favor of the new KROCK tires. I can't wait to try them out to see if they are worth. I have big plans for change if they work well. |
Re: BB's in tires? I am going to try the clod "D" tire when it's available. For know I am going to use narrowed clod tires. I am going to try the BB's. Fireman |
Re: BB's in tires? so how you getting the bb's in and out of the tires if they are glued? other that breaking the glue bead. |
Re: BB's in tires? My bb tires are MGT's with only the inner bead glued to the rim. The tire fits tight enough that they do not slip even without glue, but I left it unglued so that I could experiment with the bb's. |
Re: BB's in tires? Not that I am doing this every day to add and remove bb's but I just cut a very small slit into the tires tread, squeeze it open a bit and pour them in or out. Break out the IC-2000 and patch it up when done! Never had it tear back open. |
Re: BB's in tires? C-section bb removal! :flipoff: You don't pass up any chance to cut, mame and glue up tires do ya? :P |
Re: BB's in tires? Exactally!! |
Re: BB's in tires? I use 1,658,492,023 bb's in my front tires and 45,822,576 bb's in my rear tires. :flipoff: :flipoff: I am running low in my red rider bb gun so the rear tires might be getting a little lighter! |
Re: BB's in tires? what do bb's do to the tire? and dont they get annoying when they keep rolling around with the plastic or aluminum wheels |
Re: BB's in tires? They add weight that sits directly on the ground. They are not annoying when they help you climb vertically!!!! |
Re: BB's in tires? Has anyone tried using wheel weights. the stick on type? I'm going to try it tonight. |
