Default Time to upgrade to hex wrench set

My current set of Bondhus have served me well for the last 2 years. I find myself getting sore fingers due to my beadlocks now haha. I'm ready to upgrade finally to hexes with a handle. I was wondering if yall like the ball driver hex over the normal hex. I like how you can be at a slight angle with the ball hex but I find myself always using a regular hex to have as much "meat" as possible.

Does this set have most the sizes i need? I dont even know what size most my hexes are. I just know what size fits what bolt according to the wear on my allen wrenches.

thx

This is the set I bought from CKRC: http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ind...roducts_id=543

It has served me very well. I've not been in a position with this set where I wished I had a hex ball set. As for the sizes, I've only ever used the 1.5mm, 2mm and 2.5mm but the set also includes 3mm which is another common screw size.

If you want the bling that has quality that goes with it.....EDS TOOLS

I've got a set of these.....Integy Wrench Set Ti-Nitride Hex and have had real good luck with them.

I've also got a set of the Axial drivers and they are very nice as well.

It held up for a pretty long while. Longer than any others I've tried, with exception to the Axials. I've only had those a couple months. The Integy's I've got are probly 1 1/2 years old, maybe more. The most commonly used are the 1.5mm,2mm and the 2.5mm. The 1.5mm did finally snap about a month ago. The 2mm and 2.5mm are showing wear but they still work good.

These Axials look to be really nice. I like the handles on the Integy's a little better though. We'll see how they hold up though.

The best are the cheap Dynamite Red handle ones. I have yet to strip the actual tip on all the siezs, even the american .050".

HUDY makes a decent set of hex drivers. i hear they are a bit pricey, though. but they are included with most of the X-ray kits....
