Default Need help with fittings?

I am just curious if you guys know where i can get fitting like the ones on the piggys back shocks. I am working on a design for a simple scale hydraulic setup that will need only off the shelf parts. I have completed it on a larger scale but now im trying to locate the small fittings for the hydraulic lines.

Thumbs up

I am a hydraulic mechanic and I know you are going to have a hard time finding small enough parts but you may, good thing is you don't have to worry about a lot of pressure or flow so that is on your side. I am in denver and these are the two nearest fluid power companies to me.

http://www.strublefluidpower.com/home.html (local)

http://www.parker.com/portal/site/PA...extfmt=default (National, I think)

The fittings from parker go to 1/4" with the barbs at 1/8"

I would go to a Parker Store or fluid power/hydraulic shop with the shocks they will have low pressure line and fittings there or can order them for ya.

Good Luck

They (parker) also have other fittings if you know the nomenclature to do the whole system, size permitting

They look like fittings you might find on an airbrush or something similar.

Its not alot of help, but a place to start anyway.

thanks for the help so far guys. and so far from what ive seen.. 1/4 inch is about as small as im going to find for lock fittings for any pressure tubing. Ive got a set of these shocks on order so i am gonna see if i can modify the fitting from the remote resevoir to hold around 100 - 125 psi or so fluid pressure. i did find 1/8 tubing but it starts to swell around 175 psi.

Check these guys out http://www.clippard.com/ I use the 10-32 fittings on a daily basis but they have fittings down to 3-56.
