| Help me imaginate.
Well, back to school and my shop teacher loves me again... I have most tools to do stuff with; A drill press Bandsaw wheel saw TIG MIG and Stick welders Oxyace Cutting torch and OxyAce Welding stations Grinders And materials are some metal plates Tubes, round and square in variable sizes ect... So... With my TLT having stock chassis plates, I think I might be doing some fab work And yes, I do know and exceed in using all tools in the shop... |

Rough Picture of what the chassis will look like... Roughly 6" long, 3" tall... Will hopefully feature a lay-down chassis, I might draw up a skid plat as well... OH ALSO! The shop has a shear and a...... ah hell what is it called?? It's either a Break or a bender, it's like a sheet metal bender, but it can bend up to 1/4"... I was thinking about that, but it looks like added weight in higher places for a high COG...

Why do you have so much material in front of where the links go? Just more area to get bound up on.

In the time it took you to imaginate this thread, I've already imaginated several designs with cardboard. Your chassis will need some bracing to resist flex. ...Right now it looks like a wingnut. |

The blues are the cross-bars to space and hold the chassis together. I thought about a plate to run from chassis to chassis to hold my electronics and such and also to hold the chassis down. MAN!!! I need to look for that metal!
