Thank in advance for any info. Sorry if this is some sort of repost
I want to buy a small cnc set-up for the home/shop and wondering if anyone has any experience w/this brand?

Thinking of this one in particular

Any other brand along this line someone would recommend?

What kinda parts do you want to make? For the money I would get a Bridgeport mill with a dro or cursdar control on it. That would be the best bang for the buck. That thing looks real lite weight to me.

Dunno. Just always wanted one to tinker with. Just to make small parts like maybe servo mounts,battery mounts. Maybe some small 1:1 car parts, just basic stuff nothing to elaborate.

For small parts for rc stuff should work fine. I'm just not a fan of buying that kinda equipment.

Thanks Dan, I looked at the Bridgeport stuff, really nice equipment. I got time to shop around. Just looking for decent hobbyist level equipment. Maybe @ 5 grand or so

With 5 grand you can get a real nice bridgeport mill, check ebay. I will see what I can find close to you.
