i was wondering what kind of tubing you use for your tuber/cages, i was thinkin of trying brake line. but if there is better tubing it would be nice to know. i used solid round bar before and it was way to heavy. any info would be great thanks

I have used 3/16 brake line for some of my bumpers. That has worked well for me ,but I have read in a few threads that some guys are using 3/16 crom-moly(sp) tubing. I think that the crom-moly is stronger .

Try some 3/16" or 1/4" Stainless tube... wall thickness of like .035" or .045" .. I use 3/16" x .035" pretty often. It brazes nice, and you dont have to paint it... Another good part is you dont have to worry about breathin the fumes from burning the galvanizing off of the brake line.

I build all of mine out of 3/16 brake line... if you build them correctly; they will last forever. Design and construction is key.
