Soldering Iron purchase
 

So I've realized the need for a soldering iron, not just for RC but for a lot of things that I do, and I wanted some help on purchasing one. Basically I just wanted to know if anyone has the iron I was looking at: Digital Soldering Station : Soldering tools & supplies | RadioShack.com

Since I know virtually nothing about soldering irons, besides how to use them, I am not sure if this would be a good iron to get. Furthermore I would love to know how this thing compares to the Hakko FX-888. I am under the impression that the 888 is almost catered specifically for the RC world. Thanks ahead of time for any help, and crawl safe*! "thumbsup"

I have a feeling that the Hakko FX888 would be a much better choice...

I have the TrakPower TK-950, and it works great for me. But that station from Radio Shack looks like it would sure do the job.

I'd say Ungar if they still made them, but since they dont I'm gonna have to say Hakko
