Default Want to build a tuber! a few Q's?

I want to build a tuber for my clod. Just want to make sure i' will doint it right.

What is needed ?

Brake line, Mapp Gas bottle. Safety Silv 45 I'm missing something?

For the torch I saw this one

in my local Home depot, but it's something near 70 usd (i'm from Mexico) I really need the trigger start torch or I will be good if just buy the pencil style torch and buy separatly the mapp bottle?

What i understand between those torch's is the trigger one have automatic startup, and the pencil style i will need my lighter right ?

So what else do i need? Also i read something about flux what is that, i need it, a picture of it ?

70?!? i just got one with 2 bottles for 35, with the trigger start! i love it though, especially being new to brazing. i would go with the trigger, one less thing you need to worry about doing with 2 hands.

with brake line, remove the galvanizing where your brazing or get a good respirator.

A dremel to fishmouth the tubing. You will be fine with the regular burner tip, just be prepared to have everthing ready and not be able to find your lighter.

These are awesome,
3/16" double cut carbide burr with a rounded end from McMaster-carr.
I got an 1/8" shaft for the dremel and 1/4" for the drill press.

Mike - I was just looking at those on McMaster the other day. Are you using one of the Dremel workstations when you are fishmouthing the tube or freehand with the Dremel?

I've tried that but the bit tends to jump around alot, although I have not been using a double fluted burr, I was trying one of the Dremel rotary file bits. I'm gonna have to pick up one of these and give it a try.

Thanks
