Default Solid rear axle Emaxx

I have a nagging itch to build a narrow Emaxx with a solid rear axle. I have almost all the parts to do it. I would leave the front suspension stock other than eliminate a shock on each side. The chassis would be trimmed to reduce weight, single battery, and stock 2 speed tranny. The rear would be 4 linked with near vertical shocks to control articulation. This would be a trail/basher truck. Has anyone tried something like this? Thoughts?

I had a super sized crawler based off an emaxx already with solid axles front and rear. It was fun and I tore it down to build a 1/6th scale project with solid axles. I just bought a roller emaxx from a buddy that lost interest. He use a chassis like Soya did and locked the A-arms. So basically this would be a fun project, since I already have most of the parts.
