you could but it would require mounting some aluminum bits to actually mount the links. I'm doing an NVT(No Vertical Travel) chassis which will have a cut down stock chassis with some aluminum extensions to mount my 2 link and the pivot.

Eclipse don't be so closed minded, you've never seen a stick chassis before? It uses a pivot on the top of the axel, for which I'm canablizing razor scooter parts, the links locate the axel and keep it centered, there is no vertical travel. The links are also there so you can limit travel(instead of it just spinning round and round and over articulating, destroying drive shafts)

Its simpler, and I'm not jumping the maxx anymore, so no need for up or down travel. I may just do a regular old 3 link, but I like being diffrent, and I already have some of what I need to make an NVT system.

Default 2 link

you could run a 2 link. you need sppecial links though. ive seen them before. one end forks off into 2, like a y or v shape and both ends are connected to the axle for stability(the axle cant move back and forth) and another setup could consist of 4 links but mounted to be used like a 2 link. one end of each link connected to the axle(top and bottom for the stability) and the other ends are mounted exactly next to each other, width wise.

but if you do the 2 link with them breaking into a Y, what is to stop the axle from going side to side then?

panhard bar and it would still move with a 4 link wouldnt it? and what i meant by the axle moving back and forth was that it would not twist back and forth, like how a 4 link setup would be if you only had the top or bottom links connected, theyd go everywhere.

well i knew what ya meant cause you side back and forth. but you would need a panhard as you said to keep it going from side to side. but that would make it into a 3 link then if you do a 4 link the right way, that axle will not move at all. I run a double triangulated setup on mine, and it doesn't move a bit. no need for a panhard
