| TRX-4 SORRCA Class 2 scoring
I have a pretty heavily modded TRX-4 and I'm about to enter my first SORRCA comp with it so I'm working on my scoring sheet. My question is: Does the TRX-4 get points for a functional transfer case? By description, the truck does have a transfer case that is separate from the transmission but it is molded onto the back of the transmission case. I'm thinking it qualifies but want second opinions? Thanks! |

It doesnt count IMO, it needs to be a seperate gear case from the trans with a connecting drive shaft. Its odd seeing that most 4x4's the tcase is bolted rite to the trans but ive always seen the sorrca rules translated to it needing to be seperate. There is a sorrca thread on here where you can post questions like this and they will get answered fast

id say if if comes off as a unit, like the axial case does, its a transfer case. shouldnt have to be a divorced case with intermediate shaft to count. i think its been discussed in the sorrca thread. |
