Shaftless Maxx Has anyone come up with a shaftless (like clod axles) Maxx :?: Thanks, Tim |
i think the closest thing your gonna get is the torsion build from a while back where the guy conected pede trannies directly to the front/rear diffs directly with a u joint. |
I built one with pede gearboxes. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...ight=time+post It was too capable, no fun to drive. |

My question, how can something be TO capable to drive? If it's that capable than use it as a compition rig. Just my opinion. |
Too capable for the terrain around here. I get first at most comps with my clod, so I dont need any extra edge :D |
Ok now I understand. |
That looks familiar. :) http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...t=torsion+maxx I ran in to the same problems as Holmes, the wide stance can be difficult, but the flip side of that is the revo knuckles and revo shafts turn like cvds. It is crazy how well they can turn. Somewhere in the back of my head I want a Super class truck (to go with my 5 or so 2.2/tlts). I keep building them and taking them apart after a while. I really don't know what it is with me. :) Even my clod. I'm finally getting it dialed in and I know that after this up coming comp I'm going to tear it down and make it a 2.2. |
