Proline Ford F250 Honcho Body

Really loving this look! Guess it's made for the SCX10, but it shares the same 12.3 wheelbase with the TRX-4.

Wondering if it would work without too much fuss?

I like that a lot. The only problem I see would be the rear posts. You gonna be a guinea pig?

I'm torn! I want to paint and custom fit a body, but I'm also impatient and want to drive it! Lol[emoji16]

I made this K10 body from proline work on Trx4 chassis and even the rear cage. It's do able just took some time and patience. With the Tactical units 12.8in wb. But most anything for a Scx10, Ascender, Sendero.... bodies will fit picture for you that it can be done. But i should really adjust the wheelbase to be smaller. It would look better. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...301c5ad13d.jpg

Re: Proline Ford F250 Honcho Body

I've been running a Honcho bed on mine for 2 years now. Essentially I removed the rear body posts, drilled a 1/4" hole in the chassis support and ran a bolt through it. I made a flatbed for the Honcho truggy cage (out of scale diamond plate then another out of .080 styrene) and drilled a hole in it that lined up with the bolt. Used a cap head but to secure the rear of the body down.

Pics on the way.

Two different bodies, but same setup essentially. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a677f29505.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...670b951a05.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5d2a736f40.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5799a9391f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...fa9280605e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...36b85eb3f2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...350e81d457.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0952235f29.jpg

Appreciate it man. Next step, I plan on a steel back half cage and some lexan cab. Unsure the exact route I am going, but I really liked my F100 body, and like the F-250 as well.
