Initial testing was an epic fail. I went with a standard 56t spur gear and 10t pinion. Lets just say a toddler could out crawl this thing. I've ordered a slate of Kimbrough spur gears from 42-48t to figure out the right gearing. Unfortunately I am horrible at hand calculating gear ratios so this will be trial and error.

I’m unfamiliar with toyzuki stuff, what’s the benefit of this setup vs the vfd? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Modded cap with rc4wd rod end Losi light/ultra light springs 3/16" fuel hose on the shaft 3D cups I made 50-80wt oil depending on the rigs weight Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk |

Traxxas big bores are great. I have run modified sets before . The key seems to be finding the right springs. I have not always found that so easy.

i havent had a chance to add the pheonix portals to the list, but this will get you close if you use a trx or axial capra from the list https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
