Casey, Yes, thanks!
Probably some of the chunks are from down in the hole.

And yes, as Rockhugger said. :)

Yes you’re always welcome! Those are Paulee patties, organic beef, black beans, eggs, onions and don’t recall the secret spices, cast iron skillet fried on 50 year old Coleman white gas stove. Chips and salsa for sides, with a soda. :)

Awesome adventure for you guys! That area looks great, still kicking myself for not planning more time to explore when I was there. Still watching Rubicon YouTube vids and exploring google maps satellite view and wishing I was there! Except for Bears, the thought of coming across a Bear scares me....

And here I was thinking you guys had more scary critters to worry about down there.

I've never run into a Bear here but you could get some bear mace just in case.

Thanks Dean, I enjoyed our day together crawling, hiking and chatting, you're always welcome here!

Ya gotta be careful of nature where ever you go, for sure. :)

And our state is burning up again! The state that regulates air quality/emissions more than any other is responsible for the most air pollution due to fires fire several years in a row now. Places where we hung out as kids are burned/burning to a crisp! The air is terrible, hasn’t been good enough in weeks to hike n crawl or bicycle ride anywhere!

You have nice forest nearby. :)
Dying to get out. I've taken up mountain bike riding, and have been away from the crawling scene for a bit.
If PLBF happens I'll be out for that. Frankly I have my doubts.

Nate it makes me so happy to see you're still wheeling that truck around! I've been MIA from here for a while now but still creep from time to time. Life has gotten in the way of tiny truck time (for now) and when there's been time this year, I've been trying to go fast in a straight line for 132'. Keep on truck'n man!

Still have my ascender too.
Need to do some work she has been sitting unfinished since buying the enduro, having another kid, buying the kyosho, buying a used slash... Yeah. I might have a problem lol

I recently went camping too, anza Borrego. Brought all the trucks minus the ascender and kyosho.
Didnt have much time to wheel them. No pics.
Its quite the challenge camping with a toddler lol

I hear that man. I still have both of my Blazers tho neither run currently. I had to steal the Mamba X out of my main rig for my drag car. Still haven't jumped on a set of VP housings to curtail the axle wrap I'm getting on the rear. Hoping if I swap the upper link mount to an STRC it might help but I worry about snapping screws off in my CODYBOY housings. I also still have an Ascender kit NIB just in case.. Horizon had their sale recently and i picked up a K-10 cab for less than $20!! So since I've been on here actively, I got married last summer and my wife just had my first child last Monday. She has a 10 y/o son that I've been raising the last 4 1/2 years (I have a great pic of him and Ernie from when he and Marcia visited a couple years back!) but this one is the first girl born on my side of the family in 110 years! Looking forward to conquering those dad tasks like camping and such next summer.
