Default DOA shifter servo....?

Just got my TH and after ZERO min running, the shifter servo is non responsive. I removed the horn and get no noise, movement, vibration, smoke or anything when moving the Aux switch.
I'm pretty new to RC so, I'm hoping I am overlooking something stupid.....
Suggestions are appreciated, I had hoped these issues would have been worked out by now!

Thx

Check the shift servo setup sticky above it will show you how it should be setup if still no response call horizon hobby for a new One. Also the plug could be bad on the rx this has happened to me. To test it switch the steering and shift servo plugs and try sterring the shifter and shifting the steering. If the shift servo works this way but not the steering than you got a tx or an rx problem.

Ok, first thing I find is one of three pins in the Aux receiver pigtail is recessed so, that would explain why the shift servo does not respond, EXCEPT, the shift servo does not work when plugged in the steering position either. That position does operate my steering servo and another I had on hand perfectly.

So, sounds like I was lucky enough to get all the bad parts on hand including the steering servo (That's for another thread) and Oh, yea the battery charger does not work either, lucky I have a good one.

So I will make the call expressing my disappointment, esp since I would have MUCH rather purchased a kit in the first place.

Well atlest they will replace the parts no problem. I've have 3 horizon hobby products and have gotten tx replaced because they where faulty so they should send the rx without to much hassle. And for the shifter servo they know there is an issue and there's no fight with getting a new one.

That they did, sending new shift servo, receiver and charger FWIW.
Main thing i need is a receiver, the rest is junk IMHO but maybe save me someday as a backup.
