I'm a novice in rc's so I'm learning as I go. I've built an 86 jeep cj-7 that I love to trail ride and I love the koh competition. In Dec I bought an 1/18 scale to run on an inside track and then Jan bought a sct 1/10 but originally was looking for a crawler all along. When I saw the th I knew this was for me. So anyway here is my small build so far.

1.9 mickey thompson claws trimmed foam for more flex
stock spur n changed pinion to 21 tooth
all stickers removed
painted roll cage and beadlocks
removed driver for easier access
rebuilt stock with 35 oil
silly puddy in front diff to act like locker

soon to come
2.2 wheels n tires possibly iroks
55t cralwer due in fri
front shock relocated
bigger battery
might lenghten the wheel base buddy did his wraith
upgrade whatever I break
speaking of which stock steering servo is almost shot upgrade to a 645wp metal gear

got the motor in put 55t axial in slowed down even more trying it out tomorrow at a charity 4x4 event where camp jeep use to be held. if not slow enough will get another pinion

update 2.2 losi beadlocks with losi tires, ordered 2.2 rock crusher x/t
front locker be here tomorrow
did the cheap shock relocation as done on this forum with axial rear shock hoops n aluminum tubing
put integrity rock crawler shocks on
replace steering servo n also put aluminum servo mounts on
