is there a way of using the derwood steering setup with a front upright shock setup

Yeah there is. I have heard a few guys say that they have used it with the GCM Racing upright shock tower.

cheers for quick reply, just looked through his vendor thread and he has made a kit with the servo relocator and and upright now so I have pm'ed him and waiting for some payment details :-)
