| Battery Question, search is down.
I am sure this has been talked about 1000 times over but when I use the search it says internal server error 500. Anyhow, I am looking to get a TH but I am wondering if it is possible to mod it to fit large full size lipos? I have a lot of 2s full size lipos, nano tech 6600 and smc 7200's. Both roar legal size. Can these be easily made to fit?

Sounds like a lot of weight in a very bad place. (high in the rear) Most use batteries in the 4-5K mah range - this will give you very decent run times |

I figured that, I was hoping to utilize the things I already have and keep the costs down.

Turnigy Nano Tech 4200 Shorty from Hobby King would be your best bet to fit the stock tray. I have 2 of them that I don't use anymore.

I was thinking by now there would be a aftermarket large battery conversion type thing.

There's not because most want to improve the handling of their kit so, that leaves giant batteries out. The batteries mentioned are not all that expensive and you might be able to find some good used ones. (Hit up Pockets70!) | |
