Irie's Twin hammer ball bearing bell crank steering & upright shock tower. I2


All parts 6061 T6 aluminum
Each bellcrank rides on two precision ball bearings for a no slop no maintenance steering
Shock tower is designed for G-made 85mm XD Piggyback shocks with no internal limiter or external bump stop to take advantage of the full travel of the shock
Geometry of linkage has been 3D modeled to have as little bumpsteer as possible, almost not measurable


What is included?
6061 Top Plate and steering arms riding on ball bearings, assembled
Composite Shock tower,
Center link consisting of two ball ends and a turnbuckle
2-M3x25mm screws, for the tie rods to bellcrank
2-M3x20mm screws, for the bellcrank arms
2-M3x14mm screws, for mounting F of top plate / F of shock tower
2-M3x12mm screws, for mounting R of top plate
2-M3x6mm screws, for mounting R of shock tower to top plate
4-M3 nylon lock nuts

For the upper shock mount reuse the factory cantilever posts
Recommended servo horn part numbers:
TLR1555 for 23T
TLR1556 for 24T
TLR1557 for 25T

Steering arms made from 6061 riding on ball bearing two per arm
2-6061 stand offs
2-M3x22mm screws
2-M3x25mm screws
4-M3 Nylock nuts

Irie's Race Prepped Twin Hammers CVD Axles

Axles are cryoed for strength
then reassembled with 4037 chromoly cross pin
and lubed with molybdenum disulfide.
All together it makes a smooth running and pretty bomb proof axle.
Recommend Vaterra HD outdrives to go with the axle's part #VTR232062

Irie open rear diff axles.

will this work with the GCM shock tower plate like the derwood steering set up? looks great, hope to see more twin hammer parts from you!

Wondering the same thing. I already have the gcm shock tower and love it. Just need to fix the steering now"thumbsup"

I am sure I could get it to if I had a GCM tower.
If someone would be willing to send there GCM tower to me for a little R&D to get everything placed right.

The DD upgrade is in the works now and if I could find the Blue Monkey tower I have I would do that as well.

Just received my kit and all I can say is WOW!!! The top plate looks bulletproof! Very clean design and EXCELLENT fit and finish! My only complaint is that it's not on my rig already!

Well then you will be happy to know I just ordered a Blue monkey tower and a GCM tower to R&D with."thumbsup" So not only will I have the kits for both very soon but I will have a Blue monkey and a GCM tower setup with my steering that I will not have a use for.
