|  Front drive shaft keeps slipping
Help! Keep on having my front drive shaft slip on me. The set screws I tighten in the propper grooved location. Works great for a little while then all a sudden my rear tires will spin and no fronts yet the front drive shaft spins. Anyone have this issue and found a remedy? Ground a flat on the other side of the input shaft and then used 2 setscrews w/blue locktite. Did this on both the trans side and diff side since it's suck a pain to get in there. Been working fine for a while now (did this to the back too while I was at it.) About the best you can do without drilling it out and using a pin instead. |

I also did this, Loctite/flat spot and I bought some set screws that were Axial brand part number AXIA0181 they are 3mm X 4mm instead of the 3mm X 3mm Vattera ones. More threads moe betta  I think they may be better metal as well. Have had no problem since. |

Thanks for the input guy's. The guy before me who had it was an ass and stripped almost all of the screws. Probably used standard instead of metric drivers. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Forum Fiend v1.2.7. |
