2 speed transmission popping out of gear
 

I bought my hammers used an the guy that had it took the shift Servo out and put a handle on the shift rod su can shift it manually but it keeps popping out of gear. Anyone done this or had this problem?

Put a shift servo on it that will solve your problem.

Would it be possible to fit a full size steering Servo in there? I already have one sitting here

Not easily. You'd have to make an adapter plate and trim the cages dashbar. Just buy a shift servo.

Yes just buy a cheapie servo

I put a full size servo on my TH clone. I don't know if it'll fit under the stock TH cage, but it was a very easy swap on my clone. A $2 servo bracket and a $5 MG996 servo was all it took. Here's my video that shows it:

Put a shift servo yourself or have a mechanic do it for you, it's your best solution. Best of luck!
