Wheel Works 1911 beadlock wheels

NEW

1911 series beadlocks

All wheels and rings are cut from 6061 along with 80 stainless 3mm button heads.

10 bolts per ring ensures you won't loose a bead. I've been running these allot lately and have run countless packs through running only 4 bolts per ring and have yet to loose a bead.

I wanted an extra beefy hex area since I've seen a couple guys break the hexes in some aluminum wheels. There should be enough room to cut a 14mm hex in these and still have enough material for a strong hex area. If guys would like a 14mm hex cut in their wheels,we can do that. Just PM me and we'll work out the details.

We will have an offset that puts an Axial at 10.125" overall

We will also have an offset that puts a Berg right at 10.375" overall.

We are cutting the Berg offset right now. I'll have 9 sets of Berg offset wheels ready to ship tomorrow afternoon. After we run the Berg offset,we'll be making 15 sets of the Axial offset.

Here's a few pictures mounted up on my Berg.....

Total cost for wheels, rings and all hardware is $125 shipped anywhere in the U.S.A.

If guys want to buy 2 sets or more,PM me. I'll offer a discount for a package deal.

Thanks for looking.

very nice looking wheels.

How hard would it be to machine a hex on both sides so you could have a dual offset wheel?

redbaron 05-11-2009 09:21 PM

Very nice man!!! I can't wait to get my set!!

jason 05-11-2009 09:29 PM

Thanks. I'm sure it's doable. I can try to play with the drawings at work and see what I can come up with.

Very nice looking wheels! I'll have to hit you up here before to long for a set.

JohnRobHolmes 05-11-2009 11:04 PM

I need a set with 14mm hex for my TF axles. I think berg offset would work and still clear the knuckles. Can you make em to clear the 8mm stub and hub carrier?

I gotta get my Wreckluse project done, and all I really need is some 14mm hex rims!

sddill 05-12-2009 05:17 AM

Nice Steve "thumbsup""thumbsup" I can't wait to see these in person...Guess I know what my berg and axial will be sporting for wheels 8)8)

I'll call ya a bit later. I did a little figuring after I talked with you today. I think it's doable, may have to get a little creative though. "thumbsup"

I got 15 sets of Berg offset cut today. One more set of Bergs to cut, then I'll be cutting 15 sets of the Axial offset. Right now,I've only got enough rings and hardware for 10 sets.

Sent 2 Berg offset and 1 Axial offset out this morning. Thanks guys.8)

I have 7 more sets of Axial offset to cut. My last set Monday, will be a custom set for Mr. John Holmes. He's going to get a 14mm hex cut in his for a scale Wreckluse running narrowed Twin Force axles."thumbsup"

Some of the local guys,if they'd rather go pick them up in person, these wheels will be available at Brians Hobbyland. I'll also have a couple sets of each offset at our comp on the 30th if anyone needs a set."thumbsup"

I can check on anodizing for ya.

We haven't really planned on offering that, but if there's enough interest,we can offer a few different colors.

I'll try to check Monday when I go back to work. "thumbsup"

rockassassin 05-16-2009 07:43 PM

Sounds good thanks"thumbsup"

Right now,we aren't going to do anodizing. If there's enough interest in a certain color,we can do a lot of one color. It would have to be quite a few sets though. Or,we could run a few sets in black delrin for the guys that want black.

As of right now,we have 3 different finishes available in either an Axial offset or a Berg offset. Either a raw machined finish, polished for the guys that like to add some BLING or a satin finish.

Here is a few pictures of a polished wheel....

Here is a few of the satin finish. These are also a custom set we did for John Holmes. He is building a scale Wreckluse running Twin Force axles. Needing a 14mm hex,we opened the hex up and opened up the OD of the counter bore on the face for a bigger wheel nut.

Here's a few action shots of a polished set I installed on my sons Axial. Overall width is right at 10.125" outside of tire. This could vary some depending on foam set up. Skinny and tall foams will get you a little skinnier, short wide foams will pooch the sidewalls out a little more gaining a little width.

:shock: Those look sharp on Eddies rig "thumbsup""thumbsup" I will get a set of the polished axials this week 8)

Reflection 05-20-2009 07:51 PM

Thanks Stacey, does look kinda sexy doesn't it.. The BLING is kinda growing on me now,may need to make me another set to polish up for my Berg.

You guys can probably tell the rings themselves are just sanded smooth to remove any flaws, still kindly a light satin finish. I figured the rings get beat up pretty bad anyway,so I thought I'd leave mine satin. However,I can polish the rings as well if some would like that.

rockassassin 05-20-2009 07:57 PM

Yeah, those polished ones are sweet."thumbsup"

redbaron 05-20-2009 08:42 PM

You're killing me! The polished look SWEET!! As soon as I can scrounge up the money, I'll have me a set of those!!

We've not cut any from delrin, but we can if the demand is there. Are you in demand of delrin?

The aluminum wheels, rings, hardware, new Cougar and foam tips the scale at 8.7 ounces per wheels and tire.

Let me see what I can do about delrin.

jason 05-27-2009 06:14 PM

awd199 05-28-2009 07:03 AM

I'm going to have mine this Saturday. I guess now I am gonna have to paint up a new lid to go with my new wheels.

We've got the delrin ordered up,should be here late this week or Monday. I'm going to finish up the drawings on a new wheel tomorrow. If everything goes right,we may have a few sets of a new wheel late next week. Aluminum and delrin."thumbsup"

You know I will take some."thumbsup"

JohnRobHolmes 06-06-2009 07:44 AM

just got in two sets, one bead blasted with 14mm hex for my TF build, and one polished for my berg. Both fit perfect and have an awesome finish. The twin force 2.2 rims are EXACTLY what I have been needing for about 8 months now. The larger shouldered TF nuts fit in the pocket too. I was having troubles getting another wheel company to build these for me, but Reflection got them knocked out fast!

awd199 06-09-2009 08:27 PM

I got my set of 1911's from Reflection a few weeks ago. I finally got around to mounting a new set of Panthers on them last night. The tires mounted up very easy. I vented each wheel with 2 1/8" holes and added 4 1/4 oz in the rears and 8 1/2 oz in the fronts. Thanks again to Reflection for hooking me up with a great set of wheels."thumbsup"

Finally got them mounted on my Slingshot and tried them out.

I appriciate all the orders guys. As of right now,not counting the orders going out in the morning,we only have 1 Berg offset left in stock. We've got 4 Axial offsets left as well. We'll be making another batch of these very soon."thumbsup"

Would anyone rather see this style in delrin? I've got a few delrin wheel blanks that could be cut in the 1911's. At the moment, all the mills we have are currently tied up on other jobs. Hopefully the first part of next week,we can get down to cutting more wheels."thumbsup"
